1. How We Collect and Use Personal Information

1.1 Account Services

1.1.1 Registration and Login

You may register for and log in to a VIDABLAB account using a mobile phone number, enabling you to register, log in, and use VIDABLAB and related services directly. This also enables us to verify the authenticity and association of the mobile phone number.

After you complete authorized login using a mobile phone number and create a VIDABLAB account, you may modify or supplement account information, such as your avatar and nickname, at any time.

Collection of a mobile phone number is necessary to satisfy national legal and regulatory requirements concerning real-name registration on networks (real-identity verification). If you refuse to provide a mobile phone number for registration, login, or binding to VIDABLAB,we may be unable to provide functions and services related to AI content generation, information publishing, and interactive communication.

Based on our cooperation with telecommunications operators, when you use the “one-click binding” function and give your consent, we may use capabilities provided by the operator to use the mobile phone number on your device as the number bound to your VIDABLAB account, without requiring password or dynamic verification-code verification, thereby providing a convenient account-binding service.

1.1.2 Public Account Information

You may independently modify or provide an avatar and nickname to complete your information. Choosing not to modify or provide such information will not affect your use of your VIDABLAB account and services.

1.2 AI Content Generation Services

1.2.1 Service Content

Based on artificial-intelligence (“AI”) model technology, we provide AI content-generation services, including but not limited to image generation, audio/video generation, text generation, asset analysis, and content rewriting. To provide these services, we may collect and process text, images, audio, video, and related instructions that you actively enter, select, upload, or import, and analyze and process such content according to your specific operations in order to generate content that meets your instructions and requirements.

When you use the VIDABLAB desktop client, certain functions may require you to actively select local files, import assets, choose a file-save location, or export generated content to a local device. Relevant files are read or processed only when you actively perform selection, upload, import, save, or export operations. If you do not provide the relevant materials or perform the corresponding operations, you may be unable to use the corresponding functions, but this will not affect your use of other VIDABLAB functions.

To provide AI content generation, asset analysis, and related processing functions, we may need to transmit certain original materials that you actively select, upload, or import to our servers for processing. Some functions may involve technical analysis of images, audio, or video that contain faces, human likenesses, voices, or similar information. Unless otherwise expressly stated or unless we obtain your separate consent, such materials and related information are used only to perform content generation, analysis, editing, and other functions that you actively use, and are not used to identify a specific individual, verify identity, or for other purposes unrelated to the current service.

For materials that must be uploaded to servers for processing, we will adopt reasonable security measures to reduce the risk of leakage, alteration, loss, or unauthorized access during transmission, storage, and processing. Where a function can be completed without uploading data to a server, we will, depending on the function, process it locally to the extent reasonably possible.

1.2.2 Models and Algorithms

To provide diverse product features and services, you may click here to view the various model and algorithm services we use and their filing/registration status, as well as their application scenarios, basic principles, intended purposes, and main operating mechanisms. This information is intended to help you fully understand our use of models and algorithms and to protect your rights to know and choose.

1.3 Content Browsing

When you browse, view, or interact with content through VIDABLAB, we may record information necessary for your use of the service in order to ensure normal operation, optimize the product experience, troubleshoot faults, and perform security analysis.

If you are not logged in, we may record your browsing, clicks, downloads (exports), feedback, and similar actions based on device information, client identifiers, logs, and other information. If you are logged in, we may associate your VIDABLAB account with records of browsing, clicks, downloads (exports), sharing, feedback, “create similar” actions, generation, publishing, and other operations in the client.

When you play video or audio or preview images and other content, we may adapt content presentation, playback quality, and interface layout according to your device type, operating system, screen resolution, window size, network conditions, and client operating status to ensure that the relevant content can be displayed and played normally and stably.

1.4 Information Publishing

When you use VIDABLAB to import images, audio, video, text, or other materials, or to generate, edit, or export related content using AI, we will read the local files you select based on your active operations and process them only to the extent necessary to provide the relevant function. Some functions may require the materials you actively select to be uploaded to servers for AI analysis or generation processing.

We may record logs necessary for content import, generation, editing, export, retry after failure, and similar operations in order to ensure stable service operation, troubleshoot faults, optimize products, and improve the user experience.

1.5 Personalized Recommendations

To display and recommend more relevant information and provide services better suited to your requirements, VIDABLAB may collect and use your personal information and use computer algorithmic models to automatically calculate and predict your preferences in order to match information or services that may interest you. The system automatically analyzes and calculates such information to predict your preference characteristics and provides personalized recommended content and services based on the results.

(3) Training and intervention for personalized recommendation services: we may train the recommendation model in real time and provide feedback based on your browsing behavior while using VIDABLAB, continuously adjusting and optimizing recommendation results. To meet diverse needs and avoid excessive concentration of similar content, we may use a variety of technologies to automate content processing and provide higher-quality content and services.

If you believe that certain decisions in our personalized recommendation service are made solely through automated decision-making mechanisms and have a significant impact on your lawful rights and interests, you may contact us at support@vidablab.ai as provided in Section 8.2 of this Privacy Policy and request an explanation. You have the right to refuse decisions made solely through automated decision-making.
